What is Pride Mingle?
Pride Mingle is a recurring social gathering hosted by the Burien Pride Collective, designed to create welcoming, low-pressure spaces for LGBTQ+ people to connect.
Launched in 2025, Pride Mingle began with the goal of gathering at 12 different participating locations throughout the year. As the gatherings grew, some spaces quickly filled — a testament to the need for consistent, affirming community spaces beyond large-scale events.
Today, Pride Mingles are hosted at local venues throughout Burien, including The Tin Room (our main sponsor), Smarty Pants, Hobnobber, and The Point. We’re always open to partnering with additional venues in Burien and across South King County that want to help create space for community to gather.
At its heart, Pride Mingle is about community, conversation, and showing up for one another — no agenda, just connection. Interested in hosting a future Pride Mingle? We’d love to hear from you.

Why We Host Pride Mingles
Pride doesn’t only happen at festivals. Pride Mingle exists to foster community throughout the year — creating consistent, visible, affirming spaces where people can gather outside of large-scale events.
